Wellbeing Week
We will be celebrating ‘Wellbeing Week’ in our school from April 27th-May 1st. This is one of our annual Amber Flag Initiatives to celebrate the importance of positive mental health and wellbeing in our school. Pupils from all classes will partake in a variety of activities including mindfulness colouring, relax kids meditations, musical bingo, ‘chalk it down’ positive affirmation activity and ‘dear’ (drop everything and relax). All classes will take a break from homework on Thursday. There will be a focus on kindness throughout the week with Senior and Junior classes collaborating in a range of activities including board games, paired reading and our regular ‘Friends on Friday Walk and Talk’. These activities foster teamwork, kindness and patience in pupils of all ages. Thank you to Ms Huely Ms O’Donovan and the Amber Flag Committee for all their hard work in organising this event
