This week, many of our classes tuned in for a very important live webinar focused on staying safe in our community. The session was hosted by Caroline Casey, Road & Water Safety Development Officer with Cork County Council, alongside a Community Garda from An Garda Síochána.
Over the course of the hour-long presentation, our pupils learned about all aspects of road safety. The workshop covered everything from the importance of "Safe Thinking" and observation skills while walking or cycling, to the vital rules for travelling safely as a passenger in a car.
It was a fantastic opportunity for our pupils to hear directly from the experts and understand the role we all play in keeping our roads safe.
