There has been great excitement and wonder in our Junior and Senior Infant classroom recently as the children have been learning all about the life cycle of the butterfly.
The pupils got to experience the magic of nature firsthand by hosting some very special guests real caterpillars! The children watched in fascination each day as the caterpillars grew, spun their chrysalises, and finally transformed into beautiful butterflies. It was a fantastic, hands on science lesson that brought their learning to life.
Showcasing their learning, the classrooms were filled with colour as the children created beautiful art pieces to showing each stage of the cycle. Well done to our junior and senior infants on their fantastic work!
