Junior and Senior Infants - Creativity and Discovery

27th Jan 2026

Our Junior and Senior Infant classroom has been hubs of creativity and discovery lately.

In Maths, the children have been busy exploring number. From counting and sorting to recognising patterns, they are building a fantastic foundation for their future problem-solving skills through hands-on games and activities.

Imaginations took center stage during Aistear, where the theme was "The Restaurant." We had budding chefs, busy waiters, and very hungry customers. This role-play helps the children develop their oral language, social skills, and cooperation all while having lots of fun.

In Art, the children got messy and creative by painting their very own Colour Monsters. Based on the popular story, this activity allowed the pupils to explore different emotions through colour and texture. Their vibrant masterpieces are now brightening up our classroom walls.
