It has been a busy season in our educational garden as the 4th and 5th Class pupils have been hard at work maintaining our Hugelkultur beds.
For those who haven't seen it in action, Hugelkultur is a sustainable gardening technique that uses decaying wood and organic matter to create self-fertilizing, water-retentive mounds. It’s a hands-on way for our pupils to learn about decomposition, soil health, and the lifecycle of a garden.
