There was great excitement and pride in 3rd Class as they officially launched their very own published book, entitled "Dreams of the Future". This wonderful book is a fantastic compilation of stories written entirely by the pupils in the class, showcasing their incredible imagination, creativity, and writing talent.
To mark this very special occasion, the class was delighted to welcome local author Bríd Reilly White (author of The Teacher Who Barked at the Dog) as their guest speaker. Bríd spoke beautifully to the children about her own passion for writing and shared invaluable insights into the writing and editing process. The children were completely captivated as she read from her own book and answered their questions about what it takes to be an author.
