Our 5th and 6th Class pupils blew everyone away with their incredible performance of "Under the Sea," based on the timeless story of The Little Mermaid. It was a fantastic production that was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone in the packed audience. Each and everyone was amazing on stage, showcasing fantastic talent, confidence, and enthusiasm from the opening scene to the final curtain call.
Putting together a show of this scale takes an enormous amount of preparation and teamwork behind the scenes. Thank you to our class teachers, Ms. McCarthy and Ms. O’Donovan, for their tireless hard work in bringing this performance together, managing everything from countless practices and production details to the sound, music, stage design, and costumes. We want to thank our wonderful team of SNAs for their incredible, hands-on support across all of these areas throughout the entire process.
The production reached professional heights thanks to the expert guidance of our drama teacher, Pam, and dance teacher, Christina, who provided brilliant choreography, direction and support.
We are also incredibly grateful to all the school teachers who helped out on the night to ensure everything ran smoothly behind the scenes.
Most importantly, we want to thank the pupils themselves for putting in weeks of dedication and hard work to make the show such a memorable success. As this final school term wraps up, we want to take this opportunity to wish our 6th Class pupils the absolute best of luck as they prepare to move on to secondary school. You are a wonderfully talented group, and you all have incredibly bright futures ahead.
