Community Classroom - Timoleague Education Garden

Supported by the Tomar Trust, GIY Community Classrooms programme aims to establish, support and fund a network of 30 community gardens around Ireland over the next three years (2020-2023) that directly engage with primary schools and provide outdoor, living classrooms for pupils, staff and community members.

As a result of the combined & successful efforts of Timoleague NS & Timoleague Tidy Towns in the GIY Community Classrooms initiative, a new community project will commence in the Timoleague NS Biodiversity Garden across from Foleys in the coming weeks called “Timoleague Education Garden”. The aim of this project is to develop an educational space for adults and children, and more importantly to build a community social hub.
